Folkund'Art Association
was born from the desire to promote and develop the cultural and social values of the Romanian village at a national and international level by creating an artistic center of excellence in Iași County, carrying out socio-cultural and artistic activities, namely the selection, initiation and training of young artists (children, adolescents, young people, people of all ages) in the cultural and artistic field (music, dance, crafts), with the organization and participation in domestic and international competitions, as well as other related activities.
In order to achieve its purpose, the MULTICULTURAL FOLKUND'ART ASSOCIATION sets the following objectives:
1. establishing an artistic center of excellence in Iași County, as a framework for cultural, social, artistic, economic and touristic manifestations;
2. creating an anthropological, ethnographic and folklore research center;
3. revitalizing and stimulating traditional cultural and manufacturing activities, in danger of extinction;
4. developing cultural tourism adapted to the living conditions specific to the Romanian village within specific programs;
5. promoting gastronomic recipes specific to the cultural imagination of the Romanian rural space, etc.
In order to achieve the proposed purpose and objectives, the Association carries out the following activities:
1. carrying out specific tourist and cultural activities, according to an original authentic cultural tourism program;
2. carrying out specific lucrative activities (workshops aimed at bringing back to life traditions and occupations that are on the verge of extinction or even extinct);
3. establishing specific brands at the craft and culinary art level;
4. organizing contests, festivals of art, traditions and popular culture;
5. making documentary, educational films and films promoting a healthy, traditional lifestyle in harmony with nature;
6. activities promoting a friendly attitude towards nature and the environment;
7. promoting inventions and innovations made in the Romanian village, etc.
